Hi, I’m Terry Timmermans, founder of Color Analysis Studio—but before that, I was someone who simply loved color, style, and the way a great outfit could light someone up from the inside out.
This is the story of how that passion turned into a mission: helping everyday people discover the power of color and how it can elevate confidence, simplify their wardrobe, and bring their personal style into focus.
Where It All Started: The Shopping Trips That Shaped Me
Growing up, I used to go shopping with my mom. We’d often browse the same racks, yet she always picked pieces that made her glow. She instinctively knew what worked—and I watched, amazed, learning something I wouldn’t fully understand until later.
It wasn’t about the trends.
It wasn’t even about the brand.
It was about color.
Those trips left an impression. I learned that what we wear isn't just fabric—it’s how we show up in the world.
From Interest to Expertise
Over time, I realized I had a natural eye for what looked good on others. Friends asked for styling help. Colleagues asked about colors. Eventually, I followed that inner nudge and pursued formal education in color theory, personal styling, and image consulting.
I earned my Color Consultant Certification and began working with individuals of all identities and walks of life. And one thing kept coming up:
